Fraudsters are posing as bank staff to try to get your information
- The fraudster gathers information from social media to make the scam more believable.
- Cardholder receives a phone call from the fraudster posing as a bank employee requesting personal information triggering alerts that will go to the cardholder
- fraudster may suggest the cardholder transfer money to gain access to additional funds
